Dandelion

Native European perennial. It was introduced during the Meiji era and has become a common dandelion in the current city areas. Its strong reproductive capacity has led to a decline in its prevalence among native Japanese dandelions. The outer bracts of its involucre are bent backward, which distinguishes it from the native dandelions.
