We offer seminar room rentals, and you can also submit a tentative reservation request via our website.

For Profit-Oriented Use: If the room is used for commercial purposes
(e.g., selling goods or charging admission fees), the fee is tripled.
Fee Reductions: Discounts may be available depending on the purpose of use (e.g., for public organizations or groups that meet the center’s specified requirements). Please inquire for details.
Payment:Fees must be paid in cash at the Visitor Center reception desk before the start of use on the day of your reservation.

Note: During busy times, you may use the Sendai City parking lot located 50m before the Visitor Center.
Please confirm availability in advance if needed.

Reservation Process

Reservations can be made starting three months prior to your desired usage date.You can apply at the Visitor Center reception desk or through the tentative reservation email form.

Usage Guidelines

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the seminar room.Depending on the nature of your activities (e.g., loud noises), usage may be restricted. The room cannot be used solely for activities such as selling food or goods.
  • All trash must be taken home with you.
  • Open-style setups are required (e.g., covering the room with curtains or drapes to obscure the interior is not allowed).
  • If the actual use on the day differs significantly from what was stated in the application, the reservation may be canceled on-site. If complaints are received from visitors or staff determine that the use violates the stated purpose, usage may also be halted.
  • The Visitor Center is not responsible for any damage, loss, or management of items brought in by users.
  • The Visitor Center cannot assist with holding or transferring goods related to sales activities. Please make independent arrangements.
  • If any borrowed equipment is damaged, please inform a staff member immediately. Compensation may be required.
  • Equipment and facilities cannot be taken off-site or lent out.
  • An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is available in the Visitor Center office. Please notify staff if you need to use it.
  • The seminar room is designated by Sendai City as an evacuation shelter for “Sediment Disaster Warning Zones” in the Akiu area. If the shelter is activated during your usage, you may be required to relocate displays or stop using the room to provide space for evacuees.
    Note: No refunds will be issued in such cases.
  • A small sink with hot water is available for use free of charge. (For details about the available equipment, please inquire in advance.)
  • Free Wi-Fi is available in the seminar room.
