Family Chrysomelidae

Are a family of leaf beetles which eat Fallopia japonica. With elytra (wings) spanning at about 7.5 – 9.5mm, with black and orange spots. Their spots often vary in shapes and sizes. The larvae grow to eat the leaves and pupate in the soil.
