Viola Keiskei
Violaceae Viola
This viola has rounded leaves and pure white flowers. It can be found from Aomori to Yakushima, particularly inland on the Pacific Ocean side. With the coarse hairs on its leaves and stems, it has often been called a “Kemaruba-sumire,” but it is now commonly referred to as a “Maruba-sumire”.
