Marubasumire

Violaceae Viola

This viola have rounded leaves and pure white flowers. They are seen from Aomori to Yakushima, especially inland on the Pacific Ocean side. The coarse hairs on the leaves and stems have often been referred to as a “Kemarubasumire,” but it is now currently referred to as a “Marubasumire” (Viola with less hair).
