Normally, this plant thrives in moist environments, such as along mountain streams and forest road sides in the mountains. Its vibrant golden colour has gained immense popularity, leading to the naming of a colour after its striking golden yellow flowers, known as “Yamabuki-iro.” It spreads out by growing numerous stems from its roots, which extend with long, drooping branches.
